The IFA Villas Bávaro is one of the three hotels of the IFA Villas Bávaro Beach Resorts and situated on the fine, white sands of Playa Bávaro surrounded by tropical vegetation in the eastern part of the Dominican Republic. A real caribbean dream!
This hotel consists of several villas which have the most beautiful typical dominican architecture with colourful details. The Dominican athmosphere, the calmness and the gorgeous pool area are the reasons for our customers to return to the IFA Villas Bávaro.
One buffet restaurant in this hotel as well as 4 more restaurants in the resort as well as snack bars and bars offer our all inclusive service which is also provided in the discotheque.
The great variety of sports facilities offer activities for everyone – beginner to pro. Watersports such as water skiing, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing with a catamaran are appreciated by our customers as well as tennis, basketball, beach soccer, beach volleyball but also snorkelling or gymnastics and boccia.

Accomodation at the Villas Bavaro
The hotel has 262 rooms, distributed among 23 villas (each with 10 rooms), and 2 buildings with 16 rooms each. All rooms have a terrace, fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, refrigerator, cable TV, telephone and a safe for a fee.
There are also single rooms and rooms with connecting doors available.
Dining at the Villas Bavaro Hotel
Dominican cuisine is a blend of Spanish and African influences, which have also shaped the social and cultural fabric of the country.
The national dish is Sanconcho, a stew which combines different meats, vegetables, bananas, yams, and yautias. Other specialties include roast pork, all kinds of fish and shellfish, and a wide variety of tropical fruit. The area of Punta Cana is known for its "dulces criollos" (Creole sweets), delicious pastries made from milk, oranges, coconut, or plums.
The IFA Villas Bávaro Beach Resort offers an all-inclusive package with 4 buffet restaurants, one of them is located in the hotel and one on the beach, and the à la carte restaurant “Caracoles” which serve regional specialties as well as a wide selection of international cuisine. The à la carte restaurant “Caribe” is not included.
5 Bars of which 3 also serve a continental breakfast form 10 a.m. until 12 p.m, offer a great variety of national drinks and sodas from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m., in the beach disco “La Jungla” from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m.. Snacks are available at the pool bars from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Family All Inclusive package includes all sports and non motorized water sports.
For sports enthusiasts, the resort has 2 tennis courts and facilities for the following sports: soccer (at the beach), basketball, volleyball, French bowls, table tennis and horseback riding
Aquatic sports enthusiasts will find the Bávaro resort an especially attractive option, as there are facilities for water polo, windsurfing with standard surfboard, dinghy sailing, snorkeling and kayaking. Other activities like water skiing banana skiing (Ocean Rider), scuba diving, catamaran and deep-sea fishing are offered at a supplement price.
Other sports like volleyball, basketball, beach soccer, table tennis and tennis (daytime) are included in the price as part of the animation programme.

The animation programme for both adults and children is offered at the poolside. The Kids Club has its own programme for children from 4 – 12 years.
Between the hours of 10 a.m. and midday and from 3 – 5 p.m. action is the watchword. From fun in the water to sports’ tournaments or various board games and darts – there is always a wide variety of activities on offer which ensure fun for all.
Try your first steps in the “Merengue” – the well-loved Dominican music with its special dance. Swing your hips on our dance course and take a bit of the Dominican Republic home with you. Keep on dancing as these sounds are becoming more frequently heard in Europe.
